The students will work on puzzles that incrementally become more complicated; thus, requiring them to learn programming language constructs, which include: statements, arguments, objects, branch conditions, loops, variables, arrays, functions. Along the way they will begin utilizing algebraic expressions to actually animate their character in a meaningful way; as appose to solving a math problem because it was a homework problem.
This is fun and engaging way to learn how to program computers; but, make not mistake about it – your child will be challenged. Students will be given the opportunity to think through the problems; so, that they can build their logic and reasoning skills in preparation in tackling more complicated problems. Our encouraging staff is there to help the students along their journey so that every completed lesson plan becomes a sense accomplishment and pride.
